Celebrate Recovery is a faith-based, Christ-centered recovery program for "hurts, habits" and/or "hang-ups." The group meets every Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Hope Community Church, Altoona PA. Celebrate Recovery works through weekly large group meetings, Men and Women's Small Groups for sharing opportunities. The program includes sponsors and the opportunity to complete a 12-Step study that takes participants deeper into the work of the 12 Steps.
This recovery program is not limited to addiction recovery. It gives opportunity to look at the hurts of our past and our behavior responses that have resulted from those hurts. While those responses may include addiction, the program gives room to become free of other addictive, compulsive or dysfunctional behaviors.
